Richard Potter, a writer, producer, script doctor, and studio executive has over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry.
Over his career, Richard has developed some of the biggest franchises including Scream, The Prophecy, Halloween, Hellraiser, and Highlander along with developing the English language versions of Jackie Chan’s films such as Supercop and Operation Condor.
His extensive contribution at Dimension not only brought success to the company, but he was credited with bringing respect back to genre films.

The Dreams Quest writer’s room and our executive producers have started to map out lore details that unravel the mysteries of DreamsVerse. The experts in the writer’s room are focused on drawing the lore that will create a new depth of storyline for Dreams Quest. It will set the stage and help unravel the questions and concepts behind the origins and the realms. All this would ultimately lead to the release of the first chapter of our game, Dreams Quest Origins & explain how the DreamsVerse came to be.

About Richard Potter

Richard Potter, a writer, producer, and studio executive has over 20 years of experience in the entertainment industry. His ideas and endeavour made him the fastest promoted person in the Miramax Films company from assistant to running a division of the studio within six months. His contribution at Dimension Films resulted in it becoming the biggest genre company in the world generating billions of dollars.

Over his career, Richard has launched many of the biggest franchise titles including Scream and The Prophecy as well as revitalising legacy titles likeHalloween, Hellraiser, and Highlander along with developing the English language versions of Jackie Chan’s films such as Supercop and Operation Condor.

Richard’s relationships with agents, managers, talent, and studios have never

been more applicable in today’s multiverse of producing opportunities. Pursuing his career in writing Richard’s work includes selling a series to HBO, Warner Bros, and selling pitches to studios, and many others.

His extensive contribution at Dimension not only brought success to the company but also brought respect back to genre films.
