Since the initiation of our Discord Level Up system, we have planned several different activities for you to grab XP and level up to get a chance of whitelisting for Dreams Quest Origins. We have also managed to grab significant attention from our community which resulted into increase of our engagement rate on Discord.

As we have stated in our initial article, we may make changes in the levelling system based on the development of the community. Recently, after publishing rewards for each level, we received an influx of people who were airdrop hunters and misunderstood the whole concept of our level up system. This led to the posting of spam messages in our general Discord chat aimed purely for XP farming and therefore lowering the experience for members that are truly there for the game and are working hard to get their Whitelist spot.

Solution

After evaluating the situation we decided to increase the XP gaining points difficulty for the lower level members. This measure should discourage the airdrop hunters from spamming our channels. On the other hand, due to increasing the XP gaining difficulty from the general chat we are going to increase rewards for our events to compensate our active members.

The new XP gaining mechanism is as follows:

Level 0–5–1XP per message

Level 5–10–2 XP per message

Level 10- 15–2 XP per message

Level 15–30–3 XP per message — these levels remain unchanged

There are lots of other opportunities to increase your XP including:

• Round Table Sessions: ~60XP for attending the hourly session/ 1XP per minute of listening.
• Active members willing to join the stage will receive additional 100XP
• Quiz Days
• Gaming Tournaments
• Additional events for the community that are coming soon

Details on each activity will be shared on Discord at the start of the activity as the points may vary based on the difficulty.
